SunGard and Albridge Announce Integrated Solution

Albridge Data Services to Feed SunGard’s Synapse Surveillance with Scrubbed Financial Data for Improved Brokerage Compliance Automation

SALT LAKE CITY, UT, Oct 4, 2004— SunGard Online Investment Systems, an operating group of SunGard (NYSE:SDS), and Albridge Solutions, formerly StatementOne Inc., today announced a partnership initiative to integrate their leading data and compliance solutions to provide financial institutions with faster and more accurate brokerage compliance automation capabilities. Under the arrangement, Albridge's data replication services will provide scrubbed financial data to SunGard's Synapse Surveillance automated monitoring and reporting solution, which will help improve data quality and consistency, reduce processing errors, and help accelerate time-to-market.

SunGard's Synapse Surveillance is an automated solution that monitors brokerage transactions for exceptions to regulatory guidelines and company policies. The solution processes trades and accounts thoroughly and consistently against a flexible body of configurable rules to quickly identify any potential compliance and suitability violations. Albridge's data replication systems provide consolidated, cleansed investor, account and portfolio holdings information from more than 1,100 product families and 2,000 financial institutions.
