Four Of Five ING Advisors Network's Independent Broker/Dealers Launched Statementone.com

-Web-Based Consolidated Financial Statements Now Offered to Their Clients-

Lawrenceville, NJ - February 1, 2001 ING Advisors Network, a subsidiary of ING Group's U.S. Retail Financial Services division, has signed an exclusive agreement with StatementOne, an industry leader in web-based financial data aggregation and consolidated performance reporting.

The agreement includes the integration of StatmentOne's proprietary consolidation and performance statement platform-StatementOne.com-within four of the five independent broker/dealers (B/Ds) in ING Advisors Network: Locust Street Securities, Inc., Multi-Financial Securities Corp., IFG Network Securities, Inc., VESTAX Securities Corp.

Currently, the four independent B/Ds offer StatementOne.com reports to their financial advisors (FAs) and respective clients. StatementOne's clients private label the product to include their own company name, logo and overall look and feel for a seamless integration. ING's service is called INGadvisorsstatements.com.

How StatementOne.com Works

StatementOne.com, a secure, turn-key service-which delivers consolidated statements and performance reporting to financial advisors (FA) and their clients-performs its functions without the aid of manual or advisor-level data gathering, as is often needed with other portfolio management and screen-scraping systems.

StatementOne.com is powered by a data processing system known as the Financial Data Network (FDN), which securely gathers, cleans and stores diverse transactional level financial data comprehensively from numerous data custodians. Current interfaces include DST, DAZL, NFSC, PUTNAM and PERSHING, with others in the development pipeline.

Once through the FDN, the information becomes live and can be viewed through a securely encrypted browser. The Web application enables users to run reports for an individual investor or any number of household members. The application generates real-time, AIMR*-compliant, NASD verified, daily, time-weighted returns. Current reports-which can be run for a specific date or available for 1-, 3- and 12 month trailing, YTD and current quarter-include:

*AIMR's Performance Presentation reporting standards are reporting guidelines, primarily used by North American investment professionals to ensure fair representation and full disclosure of investment performance.
