BNY Mellon’s Albridge, an affiliate of Pershing LLC, yesterday celebrated the opening of its new office in Pennington, New Jersey, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by employees and clients. Albridge, an affiliate of Pershing, a BNY Mellon company, supports advisors who have made the decision to move to a new firm and wish to continue using Albridge Wealth Reporting™ at their new firms with little to no downtime.
"Numerous economic, regulatory and environmental factors continue to influence the movement of advisors from one firm to another, or even the decision to start their own practice," explains Marc Butler, Chief Operating Officer at Albridge. "And while investors may wish to remain loyal to a long-term advisor, they still expect to maintain many of the benefits that made their relationship successful at the previous firm."
One of the benefits that many advisors wish to continue providing their clients is wealth reporting from Albridge. "In building and maintaining collaborative relationships, advisors have cited our wealth reporting package as an indispensable part of their client meetings and conversations," explained Butler.
According to Butler, over the past several months, Albridge has been fielding several inquiries from advisors in transition, wanting to know if they can bring Albridge with them to another firm or even to their own new practice. In both cases, the answer could be yes.
